bamberAll brats, are subject to the server strike system. Strikes are issued by Brat Tamers’s for disrespectful and bratty actions. When an infraction has occurred, the Brat Tamer will screenshot the incident, and then post it in #strike, and tag @MODERATOR, the person being struck, and the person’s Dominant if applicable.
While we can’t list everything that equals bratting, we can give some examples of what does constitute bratting and earns a brat a strike.
- The NO DADDY NO RULES emoji, DOWN WITH THE DOMS emoji, GAG THE DOMS emoji, or any emojis that are similar in nature toward Doms.
- Using the previous emojis or emojis like it in a reaction
- Name calling towards Dominants
- Telling Dominants what to do
- Being rude towards Dominants
- Any action that is bratty, like glitter bombs, flipping tables, food fights, or any perceived type of bratting that is disruptive.
Also be aware, deleting a bratty action or reacting to a picture or comment with a bratty reaction and deleting that, will earn 2 strikes. One for the action itself, and one for trying to hide it.
Dom’s can not group up or target brats in an aggressive way. Also, no being overly aggressive or too grabby with submissives unless they consent.
Doms can strike their owned submissive at will as long as both have a Brat and Brat Tamer tag.
Any Brat Tamer can strike a brat for any bratting action. Strikes that happen in VC require at least one witness to confirm the strike. When strikes are given, Staff will review the strike before it is applied to the sub.
There are 10 strikes in the Server Strike system. After 10 strikes, it resets and the count starts back at 0. Every few strikes receive a punishment, increasing in difficulty until they reset. When a punishment has been earned, the sub will be placed in jail. The number of strikes a sub has received when placed in jail will reflect the severity of the punishment, not the length of time in room. A sub can not get out of jail until they negotiate, consent to, and complete a punishment with a Brat Tamer.
When punishments are being issued, if the brat is owned, their Owner will be their default punisher as long as they have the Brat Tamer role. If a brat is unowned, or their owner is not in the server or not a Brat Tamer, then they must choose someone with the @Brat Tamer tag to issue and oversee their punishment.
NO FUNISHMENTS ALLOWED FOR PUNISHMENTS, this is what tasks and the Funishment system are for.
You might agree to punish someone in jail, but may not be familiar with the person. Always ask the brat in jail what their limits and kinks are. (Tip: try to stay away from punishments involving both their kinks and their limits.) Make sure to have a good and thorough negotiation before the punishment begins. The best type of Punisher is one who can be creative. Examples of items that could be used in a punishment are cups, coins, books, paper, pencils, rice, a pitcher, shoe strings, exercise, cans of soup, and clamps. You can literally use anything they have available to come up with a punishment.
Make sure the sub knows the safeword and knows when they should use it before you begin with a punishment.
Encourage communication, do not focus away from it.
When acting as a Punisher, you need to always watch for anything that might become an issue. Be aware of body language, if the punishment is being done on VC. Be aware of emotional state. Be aware of the time the sub has been doing the punishment task. Be aware of any unprompted changes in anything the sub is doing. If it’s a physically demanding punishment, have them stretch first.
Do multiple check-ins with the submissive. Ask them how are they doing, ask them if they are okay, ask them if they need to stretch, or get something to drink, or take a break. Being a Brat Tamer is a lot of responsibility.
We ask that all planned punishments are posted in the jail before they are attempted. That way staff can potentially catch any issues that might come from the punishment itself.
All punishments have the option of a spot check from a neutral party. A spotter is someone who is an advocate for both the sub and the Dominant, primarily during a Punishment, but also can be used while the sub is in jail. This way, at any time, if the brat feels they can’t reach out or need to end their scene, they can PM their spotter. Their spotter can alert the Brat Tamer and Staff that the scene needs to be ended or adjusted. This is not a tool to get out of jail. So if a brat or a spotter halts the scene, they must still negotiate and complete a punishment with the Brat Tamer selected or a new one.
Proof of the completed punishment must be posted or completed in the server. When negotiating for a punishment, make sure you are clear with the brat about your availability. Once a punishment is complete, post the punishment proof in #punishment-proof-pics and advise that the person can be released and that you are satisfied with the punishment.
